The Human Services Legislation Amendment Bill 2011 will take effect from 1 July 2011. The legislation creates the new Department of Human Services, integrating Medicare Australia, the current DHS and Centrelink, which will cease to operate as seperate entities on 30 June 2011.

From 1 July 2011, Approaches to Market and Planned Procurements will be issued under the new DHS entity.

Any contract notices, standing offer notices (panel and period contracts) and multi use lists that are active at 1 July 2011 will be migrated to the new DHS. All legacy information will be searchable under the retired agency names.

Public searching and reports run on the new DHS will include links to the retired agencies.

RFT - Centrelink (AUS) - Re-tendering exercise for creative and design panel

In 2009 Centrelink and a group of participating Agencies established a panel for creative and design services, as part of a wider collaborative procurement program for print and related services. Centrelink is re-advertising the panel and calling for new tenders.

Tenderers may apply for inclusion on one or more of an expected 10 categories of service:

RFT - Centrelink (AUS) - IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Qualification Scheme Panel of Training Providers

The Centrelink IT Learning Team, People Development and Learning Branch (IT Learning), coordinates the delivery of priority IT Technical training to employees working in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Group. IT Learning has identified the delivery of training in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Qualification Scheme as an ongoing service requirement.

To ensure Centrelink has the ability to schedule cost effective training utilising a range of Providers and venue options, Centrelink is seeking to establish a Panel of ITIL Training Providers.

The requirement specifically covers the delivery of training in the following Qualifications:

• ITIL V3 Foundation in IT Service Management;
• ITIL V3 Intermediate Service Capability Module - Service, Offerings and Agreement;
• ITIL V3 Intermediate Service Capability Module - Release, Control and Validation;
• ITIL V3 Intermediate Service Capability Module - Operational, Support and Analysis; and
• ITIL V3 Intermediate Service Capability Module Planning, Protection and Optimisation.

Tenderers are invited to submit a Tender for:

• the whole of the requirement (all listed Qualifications in all states);
• all Qualifications in states nominated by the Tenderer; or
• individual Qualifications in states nominated by the Tenderer.

RFT - Centrelink (AUS) - Provision of Wireless Local Area Network Infrastructure and Services

Centrelink seeks tenders for Wireless LAN to provide mobility to Centrelink Customer Services Officers in servicing the public within the immediate vicinity of a Centrelink Office.

The requirement calls for respondents to develop a design for the Wireless LAN and remote access solution and upon approval of that design supply, configure, commission and instal the Wireless LAN equipment througout the Australia wide Centrelink network.
