The Human Services Legislation Amendment Bill 2011 will take effect from 1 July 2011. The legislation creates the new Department of Human Services, integrating Medicare Australia, the current DHS and Centrelink, which will cease to operate as seperate entities on 30 June 2011.
From 1 July 2011, Approaches to Market and Planned Procurements will be issued under the new DHS entity.
Any contract notices, standing offer notices (panel and period contracts) and multi use lists that are active at 1 July 2011 will be migrated to the new DHS. All legacy information will be searchable under the retired agency names.
Public searching and reports run on the new DHS will include links to the retired agencies.
