This Request for Information (RFI) has been developed to enable the Department to understand the capability of external parties to provide service delivery functions in the context of the IT Operational Strategy.
Additionally, it will serve as the basis to determine if there may be a cost effective proposition for the Department to further transition from internally provided services to externally provided services.
The Department intends to use the information gathered from this RFI to develop one or more Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for the supply of the services in scope. The responses from this RFI will help shape the structure and bundling of any future RFPs.
It is expected that the evaluation of the responses to the RFI will identify potential vendors to receive the subsequent RFP(s).
It is intended that the subsequent RFP(s) will only be sent to short listed vendors.
