RFT - Department of Transport (WA) - ICT Services for Application and Infrastructure Related Services


The Contract Authority is seeking to establish a Panel Arrangement of approximately 2-4 Contractors willing and able to provide services for the establishment, development, implementation, management, maintenance and support of:

  • Core business applications (e.g. in-house or adapted systems from other jurisdictions) including the Transport Executive and Licensing Information System (TRELIS). TRELIS is integral to the department’s business functions as it is the database for all WA driver and vehicle records which also interfaces with many jurisdictions across Australia. TRELIS processes driver licence renewals, motor vehicle registration and renewals, penalties and a range of other transactions. The continued support and maintenance of TRELIS is of critical importance to the department and the WA public; 
  • Ongoing maintenance and enhancement services for the various key business processes and technologies that support TRELIS; 
  • Web-based e-business application systems; 
  • GIS systems; 
  • Database systems; 
  • Infrastructure; and 
  • Corporate applications which may include the intranet, staff register and ministerial work flow system.
Work offered under the Panel Arrangement will be in the form of Base Services and/or Additional Project Services.

RFP - Ministry of Economic Development (NZ) - Information and Communication Consultants Panel

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to select a group of suppliers to provide research, policy and technical consultancy services on information and communications technology (ICT) issues to the Energy and Communications Branch of the Ministry of Economic Development.

The groups in the Ministry with responsibilities relating to ICT policy and technical matters are:

a:
Communications and IT:
Policy advice in relation to telecommunications markets and regulation, broadband investment, deployment and uptake, digital capability, government ICT investment, online security and safety, participation in international fora and trade agreements, and the postal market.

b:
Radio Spectrum Policy and Planning:
Policy and engineering advice on the regulatory regime for the allocation and management of the radio spectrum resource.

From time to time, the Groups require support in undertaking these activities.

RFP - Ruapehu District Council (NZ) - Provision of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Maintenance Services

Council is looking to move to a fully comprehensive support arrangement under an outsourced managed service contract.

The services we are looking to outsource include but are not limited to:

• Total day to day management of the entire ICT environment.
• User and technical support services for the entire installation.
• Management of all security and access control databases
• Management of phone systems including mobile and wired phones
• Management of Telecom links and services
• Pro-active planning and actioning of issues across the entire installation.
• Installation of all upgrades, including service packs and bug fixes.
• Relocation of ICT assets.
• Rectification of defective or problematic ICT assets.
• Maintaining comprehensive records necessary to achieve the above.
• Liaison with, and reporting to, Council management.
• Provision of strategic advice.
• Managing procurement, disposal and implementation projects.

Service levels are anticipated at three levels:

• Strategic management at the IS/IT management level typically covering overall relationship management and infrastructure development. Interaction with the Council Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – typically twice a year.
• Accounts management covering contract management, user account management, service reporting and invoicing. Interaction with the Council Contract Manager (CM) – typically weekly and monthly.
• Operational level with users addressing day-to-day delivery of services – typically several times a day.

The supplier will be expected to provide suitable personnel at all levels to manage the work, escalate issues and maintain liaison with Council regarding service provision. They will also be required to work with other suppliers on the overall provision of new ICT services and upgrades to the existing services

As well as providing the full ICT service support Council is looking for a provider to bring their expertise to bear in assisting in the development and improvement to its ICT services.

RFT - Dept of Treasury & Finance (WA) - Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services - Contract Refresh

The Department of Treasury and Finance, on behalf of Western Australian Public Authorities, seeks to establish a Common Use Arrangement (CUA) for the provision of Information and Communication (ICT) Services. The CUA has been developed to replace the SPIRIT framework. The CUA will be mandatory for Western Australian Public Authorities within the Perth Metropolitan area (as defined by State Supply Commission Buy Local Policy Zone 1).
