RFT - Dept of Health and Ageing (AUS) - Extending and Enhancing Web Based Reporting

The Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Services (OATSIH) Collection and Reporting system, known as OSCAR, is a web-based tool currently used by about 100 primary health care services in urban, rural and remote part of Australia to report data collected as part of the Healthy for Life Program.

Over the next three years a system that enhances and extends OSCAR will be implemented in up to 500 services. The system will be developed so that it replaces other web- and paper-based reporting processes currently used by OATSIH and collects data from the broad range of organisations it funds. It will also enable the collection of national Key Performance Indicator data from the State and Territory government funded Indigenous-specific health services that OATSIH does not fund. In this way it will contribute to the evaluation of the Council of Australian Government Policy and Reform Directions and the National Indigenous Reform Agreement.

Tenders are requested for the three year project to fully develop, build and implement the IT needed for web-based reporting. The successful tenderer will be offered a one year contract, with extensions for the remainder of the project period dependant on the rate and quality of progress.
