This is advance notice that the National Library of New Zealand (Te Puna Matauranga o Aotearoa) and the Association of Public Library Managers are planning to release an RFI in conjunction with one third of New Zealand’s public libraries to seek partners for the establishment of a shared library management system and associated discovery interface software.
Specifically, the RFI will seek software partners, a hosting and maintenance partner and investment partners to participate in the provision of the overall solution.
The RFI is expected to be posted on GETS on October 30th 2009. Responses will close on Thursday November 19 at 12 noon.
