RFT - Dept of Climate Change (AUS) - Refinement and Maintenance of the Australian Greenhouse Emissions Information system (AGEIS)

The Department of Climate Change requires a Service Provider to develop additional functions and expand current functionality of the AGEIS. There are 4 proposed major elements to the changes planned for the AGEIS. The major elements of the project are:

1. Translate the National Greenhouse Emissions Reporting Measurement Determination into a tier 3 method within the AGEIS for the purpose of producing Australia’s National Greenhouse Accounts;
   
2. Implement enhanced data quality controls tools;
   
3. Development of the AGEIS to perform calculations to estimate quarterly emissions across all sectors. This will include new functionality to estimate emissions on a seasonally adjusted basis;
   
4. General maintenance, service and support of the AGEIS, the external website and the associated documentation, as required by the Department.
