RFP - Inland Revenue Department (NZ) - Provision of Enterprise Desktop Services

Inland Revenue is seeking to identify a preferred supplier to work with the Enterprise Desktop Project to implement a file, print, messaging and desktop services environment using a centralised, thin client provisioning model including:

• Design, build, test, implement and migration services for the above environment.
• Integration with existing Inland Revenue infrastructure and systems to support business critical functions.
• Relevant project, implementation services and migration planning.
• Provision of an infrastructure for the delivery of Microsoft based file, print and messaging services.
• Hand-over to the operational support entity.

The scope may also include the following:

• Migration from a Microsoft Windows 2000 desktop platform to Microsoft Windows XP.
• Migration or upgrade of existing desktop applications to the proposed environment.
• Migration from the existing Novell NetWare based file, print and messaging services environment to the proposed Microsoft Windows environment.
