The CDHB will be replacing the Cisco Core, Distribution and Edge to HP Procurve switching. Currently there is a significant project to upgrade the CDHB network to HP equipment.
All the HP equipment carries lifetime warranty and there is no requirement to have additional hardware support.
This RFP is for technical support for all network devices listed in the table in Schedule Two clauses 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 and the supply, installation and on-going technical support of replacement and new network devices during the term of the agreement.
The purpose of this RFP is to obtain detailed proposals from suppliers interested in supplying us with technical support. We are looking for the most cost-effective solution to our needs whilst still obtaining our stated technical requirements.

RFP - Canterbury District Health Board (NZ) - Enterprise Storage Solution
Canterbury District Health Board is seeking proposals for an Enterprise Storage Solution to support their many mission critical clinical and corporate applications.
While the immediate driver for this RFP is to reduce the immediate risk occasioned by their existing “End of Life” computer storage equipment, they are seeking longer term scalable and flexible solutions to their storage needs, encompassing one year, two year and five year strategies. These strategies should address the wider issues of emerging architectural and interconnectivity technologies and innovative storage management options.
This RFP is deliberately not entirely prescriptive. They are seeking recommendations for an appropriate solution to meet present and future needs. They are open to considering appropriate innovative options provided that the benefits, risks and related costs of these options are clearly identified.
