HealthSMART is implementing a two-factor authentication system for access to key applications of the VPHS via a single sign-on portal. This tender is designed to procure a management system and associated components that allow the initialisation, issuance and lifecycle management of the eHealth smartcard.
This tender covers the components for managing the smartcard.
These components consist of:
· The Smartcard Management System
· Card printers
· Contact smartcard readers
· The Hardware Security Module (HSM) for protection of the security keys
· The middleware and mini-driver for network authentication
· The card’s on board application for performing the certificate and PIN management functions.
