Java/J2EE Developer with:
- ability to provide development support and maintenance for browser based applications using a range of database products and development tools including Java; J2ee, JSF, PostgreSQL;
- aptitude for, and willingness to work with, Model Driven Architecture (MDA) and code generation techniques
- experience in data management including data migration and reporting
- be well versed in object oriented design
- knowledge of XML, ASP, HTML, SQL Server Database Administration, MS Office automation using MS Access, Word, and Excel;
- knowledge of change control procedures utilising CVS, Subversion or similar packages
- have strong analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills
- have excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- be a self-managing and self-starting individual able to operate flexibly within a small multi-disciplinary team
- be able to apply their knowledge of industry standards and best practice to solution design;
- have significant knowledge and experience in research management systems.
