The Royal Children’s Hospital seeks Requests for Tender (RFT) for the provision of a scanned medical record system that will allow for the scanning of patient notes, which would otherwise be contained in the hard copy medical record. The system will be integrated with other contributory computer system (such as imaging, pathology and medical imaging) via a single login to improve access to patient information. It will be used across the entire organisation, including our satellite sites.
The intention of this system is to provide the scanned component of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR). As the leading specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria, the Royal Children’s Hospital is committed to following the direction of the Department of Health in implementing the HealthSMART solution (and corresponding CTI).
