The National Archives of Australia has been digitising paper files on demand for online access for several years. The aim of the digitisation on demand program is to, digitise large volumes of archival material in a cost-effective way.
The Archives promotes continuous improvement in its methods of digitising on demand to produce a better quality image, whilst retaining the ability to provide a timely and cost effective service.
