This Request for Information seeks to identify and assess commercially available technological platforms and related information services. The services sought should specifically address public transport passenger information to and from mobile devices.
The services will need to cooperate with the new information infrastructure of the 131500 Transport Info services, including but not limited towww.131500.com.au. The coverage includes the greater Sydney metropolitan area at present but will eventually extend to all of NSW. There are significant upgrades already under way as described in this RFI. Information services already in the program are not envisaged to be replaced, but may be extended and additional services may be added as a consequence of the process following on from this RFI. If requested, submissions from interested organizations can be treated as Commercial in Confidence.
