RFT - Australian Securities & Investments Commission - Provision of Sun Hardware and associated Operating System Maintenance Services

ASIC utilises a number of currently supported Sun Servers, Storage and Tape Equipment and Switches (Supported Hardware) for housing and managing a number of critical ASIC applications. The Supported Hardware is currently located at three different locations:

i.) the Reserve Bank of Australia data centre located at Martin Place, Sydney;
ii.) the ASIC data centre at Martin Place, Sydney; and
iii.) the ASIC data centre at Ultimo, Sydney.

ASIC requires the provision of Maintenance Services for the Supported

Hardware to ensure Supported Hardware faults are rectified within acceptable timeframes and to ensure appropriate availability of ASIC applications.

Accordingly, ASIC invites selected contractors listed on the ICT Multi Use List to submit a tender for the provision of Maintenance Services for the Supported Hardware.
