NSW Police Force is seeking responses to provide a fully integrated solution of Mobile Automatic Number Plate Recognition (MANPR) and In-Car Video (ICV).
NSWPF seeks to identify Respondents that are able to provide these Services and the objective is to ensure that all NSWPF vehicle modifications are completed to acceptable quality standards in a timely and efficient manner.
The preference of the NSWPF is to select one service provider for the provision of all Services within the scope of this RFT to ensure end to end accountability; this includes all Service Providers and its Sub Contractors. A consortia approach with a nominated prime service provider will also be considered.
Mobile Automatic Number Plate Recognition (MANPR) technology can support a variety of applications from road tolling to anti-terrorism operation. The primary focus for the NSW Police Force will be the detection of unregistered and stolen vehicles as well as vehicles likely to be driven by disqualified drivers or persons-of-interest to police for other reasons.
