IP Australia is seeking the services of a suitable provider to provide and implement an alternative COTS solution to IP Australia's existing Product Quality Review System. This solution must have the ability to be hosted and managed externally, outside the IP Australia IT environment
The IP Rights Division (Patents, Trade Marks, Designs, Plant Breeder's Rights, Customer Operation Group) currently perform product quality review. The areas within the IP Rights Division utilise different business processes and IT systems (databases and/or excel spreadsheets) for product quality review.
An IP Rights Division Quality Review identified several areas of improvement to the product quality review process. One of the key improvements relates to improving the consistency of approach to product quality review (ie: business processes and IT systems) across the IP Rights Division. An IP Rights electronic Product Quality Review System (PQRS) is viewed as paramount in achieving the improvements identified by the Quality Review, particularly in terms of improving the consistency of approach to product quality review.Closing Date: 14/10/09
