IP Australia is seeking information on a suitable Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) product to provide the core component in a broader IP Rights management solution to support the processing of IP Rights (Patents, Trade Marks, Designs and Plant Breeders Rights).Suitable products will need to provide task and workflow management, and other capabilities to support managing IP Right cases and related events over the IP Right life-cycle.
IP Australia is requesting vendors to provide information on suitable COTS products including:
a. indicative costing information;
b. capability of vendor COTS products to support IP Australia’s requirements;
c. capability of COTS products to integrate with other components in the IP Australia environment; and
d. high level technical capabilities.
The purpose of the overall IP Rights management solution is to provide simplified and agile processes, and where possible, provide common tools and infrastructure to support streamlined and harmonised IP Right processing.
