RFT - Transport Accident Commission (VIC) - Document Imaging Services

The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) is seeking a cost-effective end–to-end solution for handling incoming documents so that TAC staff can have immediate access to all documents in an electronic form.

The supplier must have the capacity and resources to:

* manage 3,200 TAC documents each day; on average 10,000 pages per day and
* manually identify and sort all documents into:
- over 60 different document categories; and
- over 200 different document types.

The TAC requires the supplier to collect, receive, identify, date stamp, sort, image, index and electronically deliver incoming documents for uploading into its document management systems on a daily basis.

The supplier must have at least three years experience delivering similar volumes and complexity to individual customers.

The supplier will also be required to store and manage nominated categories of paper documents on a short-term basis and to physically deliver nominated categories of paper documents daily to the TAC at 60 Brougham Street, Geelong.
