The Department of Public Works through Smart Service Queensland is seeking offers to establish a Preferred Supplier Arrangement with a select group of small to medium sized enterprises for the provision of specialist software development services.
SME are classified by the Queensland Government Chief Information Officer as enterprises having less than 500 employees worldwide. For clarification, this figure is calculated by the aggregate number of personnel located at the offeror's local branch that is submitting the offer and/or will be providing the services to SSQ, plus the number of personnel engaged at the offeror's international headquarters.
Successful firms will need to demonstrate an exceptional ability to develop high quality software.
Of equal importance is the ability of organisations to partner with SSQ to deliver its program of work. Partnering may be through mentoring and coaching, providing technical and methodological leadership and strategic technical advice.
