The Library is seeking contract indexing for articles from journals, a small number of newspaper feature articles, chapters from selected monographs and papers from selected conference proceedings in the subject areas of the social sciences and humanities. The articles are drawn from English language publications and the index records are to be provided in English. The index records will be made available in the APAIS service and in the future will also be available through the Libraries Australia service. Background information about the scope of the index records currently created for APAIS can be viewed at http://www.nla.gov.au/apais/.
