A number of DOJ business units have varying degrees of business intelligence capability, however there is little consistency within these capabilities across the Department and no clear intention as to their collective development. Recognising this, the ICT Strategy Program 2006 – 2009 described and recommended a strategic program of works intended to unify andorient the department’s technological development. Among other initiatives, it recommended that DOJ invest in the development of a business intelligence capability.
