RFT Closing 7 May 09 - Victoria Dept of Human Services - Elective Surgery Waiting List Data Audit

The Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced party to conduct a hospital-based assessment of the accuracy and integrity of data reported by health services to the ESIS dataset. The audit program is intended to provide:

• A review of hospitals current data collection, recording, storage and extraction practices and their ability to provide an accurate picture of elective surgery waiting list activity and perofrmance; and

• Recommendations for improvements to DHS and health service procedures and practices designed to increase the accuracy and integrity of elective surgery waiting list data.
