The Request for Expression of Interest by the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy is for the provision of lead advisory services relating to the implementation study for the National Broadband Network. The Australian Government announced on 7 April 2009 that it will establish a company to build and operate a new National Broadband Network. As part of this announcement the Government is moving to commence an implementation study to be completed in early 2010.
